DC: Thanks for the interview Rated E. Who are the members of your group?

Rated E: The members of the group are Jameil Foster, Brandon Roache, Rohan Palmer, Deqo Hussein, Donovan Hollier and Sean James.

DC: How long has your group been dancing?

Rated E: Rated E has been dancing for about 2 years now.

DC: How did you first become interested in dance?

Rated E: Dancing brings joy and it was a talent shared amongst the members of the group so what started off as a friendship turned into a dance group.

DC: Who was and/or is your inspiration for dance?

Rated E: Watching people like Michael Jackson, Usher and Omarion, you're just amazed of what they can do once they hit the stage, so you can say we model ourselves after these great performers.

DC: How many times have you competed/performed?

Rated E: We have competed and showcased at many events across Canada and have won several shows. Whether it is something to benefit the community, concerts, school tours, competitions we've done it all.

DC: What was it like having Jully Black on the Judging Panel?

Rated E: Having Jully Black on the panel was a lot fun because she gave great feedback and enjoyed our performance and that's always a good thing when someone from the industry enjoys your work. She was great and so were the other judges.

DC: Have you been to any auditions? How do you prepare for one?

Rated E: We've been to many auditions. We usually prepare by getting everyone to come and practice, stay focused until we come up with the best ideas of what we want to do and we just work towards that. Practice is the key.

DC: What is your favourite type of music to dance to?

Rated E: We usually just dance to Hip Hop and Reggae.

DC: Who choreographs your routines?

Rated E: Everyone in the group has the task of coming up with ideas to put towards a routine so it is a group effort.

DC: How long does it take to learn a new routine?

Rated E: Depending on how long the routine is or how much routines have to be learned we usually just basically learn it before the show that's the best way to put it. If extra time has to be put in to learn it and have it perfect we do it, because there's nothing worse than messing up on stage!

DC: How often do you practice?

Rated E: Practice are usually 1 or 2 days in the week but if preparing for a show it might be 3 days a week.

DC: Are you considering dance as a career?

Rated E: It would be great if we could turn dancing into a career because we love doing it but at the same time we also need to have something to fall back on such as our education.

DC: What do you enjoy most about dancing?

Rated E: What we enjoy most about dancing is the applause's you get after a performance and the feeling of knowing that you entertained the crowd. Winning shows is something you really enjoy because all your hard work is rewarded at the end of the show.

DC: Thanks for the interview, Rated E!
