IDFA Toronto Classic Athletes in OXYGEN Magazine
September, 2006

Check out the lastest issue of OXYGEN magazine. Page 53 features an article about the 2006 IDFA Toronto Classic, held on June 3 at the Glenn Gould Studio (CBC Building in downton Toronto). The athletes and their results demonstrated once again that our greatest champions aren’t always those in the public eye but are the people you see in our community.

The Open Figure and Fitness Championship was awarded to Heather Barnes, a professional Dietician whose fitness modeling prowess and physical fitness routine wowed judges and earned her an IDFA Pro Card. The Overall Women’s Open Bodybuilding Championship was awarded to Ana-Mera Johnston, a professional Personal Trainer. First time IDFA Figure Competitor, Naomi Dalle, won the title of Overall Winner of the Novice Figure Championship. Olivia McGuire, wife and mother, and last years’ Canadian Classic Masters Figure Champion returned to the Toronto Classic and captured the title of Masters Figure Overall Champion.

This is the debut of IDFA in OXYGEN and we are very proud of the athletes featured as well as all the other competitors who made the show a success. Upcoming IDFA contests include the IDFA Canadian Classic II on November 4 at the Glenn Gould Studio.
