SC: Thanks for the interview Andrea. Can you please give us a description of yourself?

AM: I always seem to be the person friends come to with their problems, a social butterfly, determined, competitive.

SC: How long have you been weight training and/or involved in fitness?

AM: 1 year.

SC: Tell us about how you became interested in competing in Figure?

AM: My boyfriend John took me to watch the London show last October, I thought I could do that, and started training in November '05. I placed 2nd in my first show in April '06.

SC: What or who inspired you to compete?

AM: My boyfriend John. He's been a gym rat since he was a teenager.

SC: How long have you been competing?

AM: Since April 2006.

SC: What have you learned from competing?

AM: There will always be someone better, the competition is tough, you can't ever slack off.

SC: Do you have any tips or advice for upcoming figure competitors?

AM: You have to enjoy it. When you've worked so hard to design your physique it's fun to show it off and you get to meet a lot of wonderful people with the same interests. I love a little friendly compeititon.

SC: What's your training philosophy?

AM: Pain is your friend, it lets you know you're not dead...yet.

SC: Do you train on your own or do you have a training partner?

AM: On my own.

SC: What about supplements? What are your favourites?

AM: Creatine, Glutamine, Protein, B, C, Udo's, BCAAs .

SC: When are you competing next?  I know we will see you onstage at the IDFA Pro Classic in November 2007!

AM: I plan to do the Ontario Naturals and try the natural stream (they're still waiting for their 2007 date to be confirmed). The World Qualifier is June 17 which I also plan to do so it should be some time before then.

SC: Any parting words?

AM: Thank you John and my family for all of their support, thank you Shaun and Desmona for organizing a top notch natural event – competing can be fun on a fair playing ground.

SC: Thanks for the interview Andrea.
