SC: Thanks for the interview Josh. Can you please give us a description of yourself?

JT: Very competitive, passionate about everything I do. A little obsessive compulsive, all or none attitude.

SC: How long have you been into bodybuilding / weight training?

JT: I've been weight training for 21 years and bodybuilding for 14 years.

SC: Tell us about how you got into bodybuilding?

JT: I watched a [bodybuilding] show when I was 20 and one year later I was up on stage.

SC: What or who inspired you to compete?

JT: I think I always wanted to.

SC: From my understanding you have been competing for quite some time. Of all the shows, which one stands out most to you?

JT: 2005 UIBBN World Championships in Paris, France. What an eye opener! I tied for 6th place with a guy from Belgium, I think there were about 12 guys in my class.

SC: What is your favourite bodypart to train?

JT: I don’t split up body parts; I train the whole body in one workout. I guess I would say back and legs are most brutal, I love it!!!

SC: I hear you have some interesting training philosophies. Can you touch on those for us? Or is that top secret?

JT: I use the Overload™ method – This is an ultra-high intensity approach to body building done with high- tech machines, often including intensity variables like pure negatives, negative accentuated reps and hyper reps. If you would like to learn more go to www.overloadfitness.com

SC: Do you train on your own or do you have a training partner?

JT: I will have one of my trainers take me through a workout to insure maximum intensity.

SC: What about supplements? What are your favourites?

JT: Creatine, glutamine, whey protein, and custom amino acids.

SC: Do you have any tips or advice for upcoming natural athletes?

JT: It's very likely that that you can train too long or too often but unlikely you can train too intense!

SC: Any final words?

JT: Thanks Shaun, Team Overload™ is looking forward to showing their stuff at the Canadian Classic II. Thank you for this opportunity, I believe that the IDFA is on the cutting edge and is really doing the “right” things. I know the passion and energy you guys put in to your shows and I’m honored to be a part of it.

SC: Thanks for the interview Josh. And see you at the Canadian Classic II on November 4.
