SC:
Thanks for the interview Wil. Can you please give us a description of
yourself? WEU: Extreme!!! LOL!!! Im a spiritual, easygoing, calculating, positive, inventive, respectful, honest, loyal, humble, competitive, focus, business man in a bodybuilders uniform. SC: How long have you been into bodybuilding/weight training? WEU: Ive been going to the gym for 9 years and competing 8. SC: Tell us about how you got into bodybuilding. WEU: Well Ive always had good strength but no major muscle size. One day I decided to make a change in my life, physically. After being in the gym a few people started asking if I competed, so I decided to try it out. SC: What or who inspired you to compete? WEU: I love a challenge. I never thought I could gain weight nor have the confidence to be in front of an audience. I knew that was something I had to overcome, so I challenged myself. SC: I checked out your site, you have an impressive competition resume. Of all the shows, which one stands out most to you? WEU: Each show is special to me but, if I had to pick one I would say last year in the Grand Cayman. Wonderful people and beautiful island!!! I had a lot of first there, i.e. my first time to the Grand Cayman, my first time competing as a middle weight (1st Place), my first time caught in a hurricane (Charlie), my first time to a turtle farm, and the first time I was in a Caribbean Newspaper. SC: Toronto is quite a trip for you. What made you decide to compete in the Canadian Classic? Other than the constant emails I sent you...ha ha. WEU: Honestly, it is mostly because of you. Great promoters are not afraid to hit the pavement and search out competitors. I honor that greatly. Also, I have a few friends in Canada and a past trainee (now living in another country) grew up in Canada. SC:
I have heard you put on a hell of a show. What separates a good routine
from a great routine? WEU: Preparation. The more prepared you are the confident you will look in your performance. On the other hand I never make up routines for myself just for others. Ill usually come up with a concept and grab the vibes of the audience to work the crowd. SC: What is your favourite bodypart to train? WEU: Thats a hard one. I dont really have a favorite but, maybe legs. SC: Whats your training philosophy? WEU: I can do anything I put my mind to. SC: Do you train on your own or do you have a training partner? WEU: Normally I train alone although Ive had many training partners in the past. The range has been 64 and 300lb. males off season to 49 98lb. females pre-competition. My current training partner, Edy is perfect. She is beautiful and strong, physically and mentally. SC: What about supplements? What are your favourites? WEU: I dont use many supplements. I just use multi-vitamins and herbs. My largest consumption is herbs. SC: Do you have any tips or advice for upcoming natural athletes? WEU: Never ever give up or give in to negative thoughts. I can provide additional advice if anyone wants to contact me wil@wilusher.com SC: Thanks for the interview Wil. WEU:
